D&D Traffic Management will proudly sponsor this years Wollongong City Council and Integral Energy City of Wollongong Australia Day celebrations at Wollongong Harbour on Tuesday 26 January 2010.

The supply of traffic control services for this event forms part of D&D Traffic Management’s commitment to supporting local communities through sponsorship & donation activities.

Over the past few months the D&D Traffic Team has been busy liaising with Council & Local Police in order to implement the most effective and safe traffic management plan.

The following road closures will be implemented.

Marine Drive between the southern roundabout and Endeavour Drive -
5am-10.15pm

Cliff Road, south of the intersection with Georges Place - 5am-10.15pm

Harbour Street between Smith Street and Cliff Road including Robertson Street, Hinton Street and Hector Street - 5am-10.15pm

Fish Cooperative Road and all the inner harbour area of Belmore Basin and Endeavour Drive (other than access for delivery vehicles and pass holders) - 5am-10.15pm

Crown Street, between Harbour Street and Marine Drive - 8.30-10.15pm

Wollongong City Council encourage all the community to come down to the harbour for this family friendly, alcohol free event. There’s something for everyone and Wollongong’s picturesque beach location means it is the perfect place to enjoy the nation’s celebration.
