Quality PolicyIt is the policy of D&D Services to provide and supply product of consistent, reliable, economical and to the highest quality that meets the needs and expectations of the customer and is in compliance with the requirements of the International ISO 9000 family of Standards The Quality Manual shall identify all measures required for the purchasing, planning, supply and delivery of product and maintaining a quality system in pursuit of excellence and customer satisfaction. The Management of D&D Services is committed to the quality functions throughout all stages of our service and supply of product to include continuous improvement and meeting our goals and objectives. Product quality will be the policy of D&D Services and it is required that all employees will actively support the quality assurance program in the implementation of this policy. Drug & Alcohol PolicyObjectives(a) To ensure the health and safety of all employees, visitors, contractors and other persons in the workplace. (b) To make rehabilitation and counseling available for drug and alcohol related illness, rather than focus on discipline. (c) To ensure the rights of all employees and other persons in the workplace are respected. Return to Work PolicyObjectivesTo ensure that D&D Services complies with its obligations under the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act. CommitmentD&D Services is committed to preventing injury and illness by providing a healthy and safe workplace. This commitment extends to ensuring that any injured worker returns to work as soon as possible, consistent with good medical practice. This is achieved by undertaking a process of Workplace Injury Management, working closely with the injured worker, the doctor, and the insurer and rehabilitation provider. Policy & ProceduresEnsure that the Occupational Rehabilitation process is commenced as soon as possible after an injury in a manner consistent with sound medical practice. Contact the injured workers nominated treating doctor as soon as possible and indicate D&D’s commitment to rehabilitation. Identify suitable duties that will assist in an early return to work. Where appropriate have a functional and vocational assessment performed to establish a RTW goal. Once the injured worker is fit to return to work, implement a return to work plan, and ensure that the injured worker is actively involved with their rehabilitation program at all times. Commit such resources as are necessary to ensure that the rehabilitation process can operate effectively. Ensure that consideration is given to address literacy or language issues. Appoint a WorkCover certified Return to Work Coordinator. Industrial Relations PolicyIt is the policy of D&D Services management to ensure that industrial relations management performs at both the enterprise and project levels and to analyse potential risks that may impact on the project. This policy is reinforced by the commitment of all levels of management who shall maintain the required enterprise’s industrial and employee relations objectives. Management is responsible for the control of industrial relations matters, including, compliance with industrial and employment obligations and, as appropriate, the initiation and implementation of corrective action. Management shall ensure that appropriate communication with employees, unions, other contractors and subcontractors on industrial relations issues are conducted and maintained. Management shall be responsible to ensure that all approved subcontractors have the ability to comply with industrial relations and employment obligations. This policy is further reinforced by D&D Service’s commitment to Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
