D&D Services is currently offering a Traineeship in Business Services (Office Administration) to support the corporate services at the newly established head-office in Unanderra. The role will be part of the experienced Administration and Finance team, and an excellent opportunity for someone with exceptional verbal communication skills, who is interested in professional development in customer service & other administrative functions of a dynamic group of companies.
All training & education will be work based from a registered training organisation. Allowing you to achieve a fully recognised Certificate III in Business Administration on the job.
The position is open to applicants who are eligible for admission to the Certificate III in Business (Office Administration) and do not already hold a Certificate III or higher qualification.

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support the corporate services at the newly established head-office in Unanderra. The role will be part of the experienced Administration and Finance team, assisting in all aspects of payroll duties.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for:
Processing of time-sheets
Ensure all time-sheets are received, approved by the customer and extended accurately using the appropriate award ensuring the employees are paid all entitlements correctly.
Interpretation of awards You will need to be able to interpret awards to ensure all relevant entitlements and all on costs are calculated to then develop client costing schedules.
Preparing payroll reports
There will be weekly and monthly reports which you will need to complete using Microsoft excel and our payroll system.
Meeting Deadlines
You will need to be able to work to a deadline driven environment.
Customer Service
You will need to have a good commercial understanding and have been exposed to the flow-on effects of how your responsibilities effect our valued clients.
The successful applicant will have the following:
o Experience in dealing with & interpreting various awards and enterprise agreements
o Strong analytical skills with a strict attention to detail
o Good Excel skills across a range of spreadsheet tasks
o Experience with payroll software. Experience with Codehouse Payroll will be highly regarded
o Exposure to working with manual time-sheets
o Fast & Accurate data entry skills
This position is a part time role which will involve hours of 9:00 to 5:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of each week. There will be a requirement to work fulltime for the leave periods of the Payroll Manager.
3-5 years of Payroll Experience is required for this role. Experience in Accounts Payable will also be highly regarded.
